Sunday, December 20th

Since December 8, Richard (my hubby) and I have been on the road
delivering the cheer to picket-lines across the province.  As of tomorrow,
we will have personally delivered grocery gift bags, grocery gift cards,
toys, and hot lunches to 14 picket-lines.

OCC Angels/Volunteers like
Jim Freeman from the Durham District
Labour Council, Cherie Hunter from CEP 1999, the executive board
of CEP 425G and K
im Ginter and Barb Dolan from CEP Ontario
Region generously donated their time and delivered the cheer to another
4 picket-lines
that we could not physically get out to.  We are sooooo
thankful for their help
!

The past 12 days have been busy/crazy/insane with p
acking grocery gift
bags
, preparing grocery gift card envelopes, sorting toys, coordinating
drop-offs
and driving all over timbucktwo.

The amount of toys that have been donated by OutGrowOutPlay.com,
Ottawa-Carleton Elementary Teachers Federation,
OSSTF District 12
Teachers Bargaining Unit, PSAC-UTE Mississauga,
OPSEU 479 and CEP
975 is absolutely incredible!  My entire kitchen is covered and piled high
with Barbies, Legos, trucks, games, and a gadzillion other toy (I have
pictures!).

Tomorrow at 12pm, we will deliver to USW 9511 in Ottawa and USW
6200 in Port Colborne.
We are expecting a great turn out at both
locations.  All are welcome to come out for lunch!

The website will be updated within a few days and pictures will be
uploaded..it's time for Richard and I to focus on our f
amily and celebrate
the Holidays
with our loved ones : )
